lukemb3, can you so anything so stop those first 3 bogus calls from ffmpeg that is failing before it goes to the webm method?

Yea the plugin is fine. But I don't mean an empty genre list. What I mean the list actually has an entry and it's an empty or whitespace string. So then in our recommended programs algorithm we look up more content based on the genre, and our other services throw an ArgumentNullException because they can't really do anything with it. So ideally, the plugin shouldn't include that value in the list.

Ok your update has stopped the parameter error but there are two issues,

- the icon grids don't eliminate duplicates
- the icons are square even they come from cover art.

MB3 is open source so if you don't hear from lukemb3 or Svekke when NextPVR 3.2 is released I will post my Windows compile. You need a hefty PC for transcoding.

So it allways transcode ? I'm already sharing my NPVR recordings with MB3 server, and have been experimenting a little with chromecast, my server handles 1080i transcoding, althought there was some deinterlace issues, and chromecast is only 60hz it seems, also a bad solution for Euro broadcast. Maybe some tweaks can be done to transcoding to improve result. Hopefully we will see some quick sync transcoding or opencl gpu transcoding in the future.
