Every fourth or fifth time I restart my computer I loose my skin reference, Unrecognizable database and my capture source. This causes me to loose my scheduled recordings and channels too.
I get an error message that states “Unrecognizable database“
When I try to open the file gbpvr.mdb it also tells me “Unrecognizable database“.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance! Smile

Sounds like you machine doesnt shut down cleanly. MDB files can become corrupt if its writing to the file when power is "removed", or if the disk cache isnt given adequate chance to flush any updated data.

There is no GB-PVR settings that will help you with this.

Thanks!

Maybe I just have to close the program before restarting.
That could explain why the problem is intermittent.

That makes sense.
I have been having trouble playing back movies. When I do it has been freezing programming forcing me to cold boot machine.
I will back up data base before next attempt.
Thanks! James
