BTV to NextPVR by way of WMC

I downloaded BTV Negociator but when I run it it says it can't log on to localhost:8129. I input my password and also tried using my servers 192.168.10.102 local address to no avail. I have port forwarding set up in my router. Funny thing is, if I try to log onto BTV's web admin via a browser it works if I do 192.168.10.102:8129 but I get an "unable to connect" error if I use localhost:8129. Strange. I will post the BTV.XML file in the morning as soon as I can figure this out.

I figured out why BTV Negotiator wasn't connecting. I was using an older version that didn't work with BTV 4.9x. Now it connects fine but does not populate the library with any recorded shows. It just says "updating now" forever.

I can't seem to get BTV Negociator to populate the library and generate the BTV.XML file. I'm going to try to uninstall BTV 4.9 and install an older version to see if it will work with that. If I have to go as far back as BTV 3.x and it does work will that versions BTV.XML file be ok?

It took a while but I finally got BTV Negociator to give me the BTV.xml file. At first for some reason it wouldn't work. Jumped through lots of hoops to no avail. Even did a clean install with XP and various versions of BTV thinking it might have been a Windows 7 thing. I finally gave up but when I restored my Windows 7 HTPC's image I tried one more time and it worked the 1st time! UGH! I attached it to this message. Thanks again for looking at it.
