Hello

Does anyone know the best way to get kix and Pop+1 epg data. This is for freesat UK dvb-s card. Theres a few channels with no epg using the standard ota epg update method and I cannot see these channels in any xml feeds so far.

I'm pretty sure I get EPG details for Kix using the ota capture via dvbguide. I'll check later...

Thanks I just tried dvbguide and it did get kix info. Now just to figure out how to run it properly as I see I had to stop the npvr service for it to work.

Why would it be that dvbguide works over the inbuilt function?

Hi can you be more clear? Currently from your post you are using the OTA method? Is that all your are considering?

I have approx 2 weeks of kix epg info from what I think is a nominal fee paid for service via Digiguide and Pop via the most excellent Alan Birtle's xmltvgui.

If you are only looking at OTA EPG stuff then ignore me Big Grin

For verification Big Grin

Grabbing Pop and most other channels from RT via Alan's most excellent xmltvgui.

Using the plus 1 (+1) generator to add any + 1 channels not available from RT.

I use Digiguide to fill in any channels not available from RT and also as a potential 'other' solution should the peeps @RT wake up one day and decide to no longer provide the xml feed.

Of course then Digiguide may also wake up one morning and decide to change stuff etc......

I don't mean to be obscure just tired.
