Putting it in post processing is too late.

If you want another test you can record "Sports Stars of Tomorrow" on The CW tomorrow afternoon.

Here's an update plus an installer. I changed the logging, put in a check to stop when the recording service stops and a made few enhancements based on today's games.

Only monitors North Americans sports

Code:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR\NextEnd.exe" --oid %3

Options
--cancel  (stop recording when game stops)
--early (stop recording when game stops even when it is before the recording end time)
--postgame ##  (add ## minutes to following shows to allow for post game talk default 5)

For help on this upload Logs\NextEnd.log

The following can be run manually or in PostUpdateEpg.bat

Code:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR\NextEnd.exe" --sunday

Possibly extend Sunday night shows.  It starts monitoring on Sunday logs other days.

For help on this upload Logs\NextEnd-sunday.log

That will work still, the options are more for sports. I have found the 5 minutes for postgame good enough but YMMV.

Looks like the game went 20 minutes over. I'm not very good at this but I do not see any thing about NextEnd in the logs. The news recording stayed in it's time slot.
Thanks for this

That a shame that you don't have a files called NextEnd.log. Since you are running 32bit you don't need the (x86) in that batch file.

In mine it was

2014-09-27 23:46:19.067 [DEBUG][1] Extend file written 00:16:19.0666552

so for my test against the second show that would have been Burn Notice for you, with the five minutes added.

2014-09-28 00:00:02.479 [DEBUG][1] Extending end time by 21 minutes

Do you think it ran? I did not have a log in c:/temp.

Thanks Greg

No, not if you pointed to "C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR\NextEnd.exe" The logs will be in with NextPVR logs if things work.

From the command wind you'd see what Madam Secretary would do tonight with the following. You will have to close the windows with Ctrl-C

"C:\Program Files\NPVR\NextEnd.exe" --oid 37274

Also, I'd really like to see the logs from running the Sunday test to make sure my Eastern time logic is working.

"C:\Program Files\NPVR\NextEnd.exe" --sunday

Ctrl-C to end it too.
