Yes that is the normal response when monitored sports finish early. The problem is setting up that earlier monitor. The --sunday option is good because I just look for show that are running at 6:35 PM Eastern For the rest of the week it is recording the abutting show or manually. I might add a late news/talk show mode for weeknights

On thing that shows is I monitor by the unique ID but that log looks wrong id. Did you run the update?

I did the second one not the last one, stuff was recording. I will do it in the morning. Just run the installer over the old one right? Sorry about the "silly code to you I'm sure" but my wife is getting a little dementia and freaks out about the doors.

Sorry I haven't had time to look at your code I forgot to set up --sunday mode before visiting family and noticed a bug in the live code that needs an update.

The evening game went a couple of minutes long so with my 5 minutes padding that was 7 to be added and that worked. Unfortunately there was 13 minutes of post game stuff so I was short. I will have to monitor this to see if the default should be 10 or 15. At least post-padding still applies.

The main things that I am considering are
- extending recording time for sporting events that go longer than planned

How does the system KNOW they go for longer? My recordings schedule a time slot based on NEWA Auto record.
In the US/Canada do they dynamically change the end time? If you have an EPG update for me it's only 1x per day - so system doesn't change immediately?

I'd like too read your challenges too. Some that come to mind:
- with one tuner early game on one network goes long but the late game on the other network is the one you want to watch.

This sounds a bit like the GBPVR plugin XRECORD (I think it was) from many many moons ago that had an option for Priority recordings (which I miss).
THIS I would really like to see make a return i.e. Sports Take Priority... :-)
