There's an issue renaming this show tonight, it's also an issue with ncis new orleans. Any suggestions?

How do you set this recording? It is treating it as NCIS not NCIS Lost Angelos. I just did an early test for tonight and it works fine. Note my value from the NPVR.db3 file is NCIS Los Angeles

There is a workaround but NextPVR should be able to create the original file name correctly like it did for me. NCIS Los Angeles_20140930_07250730.ts I guess it could be an anomaly for shows flattened to one recording folder.

It's set as a series (all new episodes on channel) through tv guide. It's being recorded as NCIS. In tv guide it's listed as NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans which might have some effect but CSI: Crime Scene Investigation had no problem. I'll try deleting NCIS.xml and see if that works for NCIS: New Orleans tonight, it's the only ncis*.xml.

I wouldn't bother deleting ncis.xml It will just get it again. Could you have changed the default to set recurring match to match start of title rather than exact? If you must have that change edit

It's not set as match beginning, however only NCIS is set in recurring recordings. I'll set it to record LA and NO and see how it goes next week. Tonight's NCIS: New Orleans renamed tonight, the ep name is correct but Season/Ep are wrong, should be 1x02.

I can't duplicate your problem here, I created a rule to record NCIS new on a channel and it didn't record the spinoffs. For New Orleans the ID is 01922310
