I have checked with UJB to see if the 405 comes from having no valid recordings. Maybe because I wrote it I use imageGrabLite for renaming correctly and creating nfo files, but I record directly to the NAS, and there are other NextPVR centric options for renaming that do update the database.

Good to hear. Thanks for the feedback and the offer to help. It sure helps when I do a forced update when the next version of NEWA comes out to know I won't blow away old users.

I am sure you have not moved on to KODI but just to let you know it will not load or work on KODI neither does the NEXTPVR addon.

I will have to check the last time I used it with Kodi it worked and there was nothing in the python API that indicated ti would be broken. During the Frodo and Gotham alphas it would regularly break so I am not surprised, but as thing get closer to beta a stage I had to open bug reports against python.

I didn't have a problem installing and running with today's Kodi nightly so I changed my test strategy. I uninstalled Kodi reinstalled today's nightly and got a message on on invalid structure on the zip file. I then reverted to Kodi alpha4 installed X-NEWA (eventually to be rename K-NEW, or canoe for short) and then upgraded to the nightly. All is good even live tv. It looks like the installer is broken or that I will need to change something once things get documented.

I built tonight's Kodi and x-newa seems to install again.

Edit: It installs fine with the official nightly now too. As mentioned this happens often during the alpha and beta cycle.
