ImageGrabLite: problems with Letterman and Goldbergs

This is a brand new episode, though? The problem is that Media Browser can't seem to handle the '+' where it is located.

By the way, I had another show like The Goldbergs. It is The Flash which similarly needs to match The Flash (2014). I just erased all the files this time as you instructed before and it did find the right match.

Why would a '+' be added to a renamed show? For example, it renamed a recently recorded episode of This Old House to: This Old House.S36E03+.Charlestown Project 2014 & A Bridge to Charlestown.ts

Ok that show is on here Saturday. The zap2it episode name is

Charlestown Project 2014; A Bridge to Charlestown
thetvdb name is not matched as it is different
Charlestown Project 2014: Part 3: A Bridge to Charlestown

iGL then matches on the air date but it uses the ; as the typical zap2it combined episode indicator.

For The Flash if you have metadata enabled in NextPVR you will have this problem.

For the next release in --zap2it mode I will check the Media\Shows and if the show has status Ended I will use the zap2it ID to see if it is correct, if not it will try and correct it

My test worked to rename that recording to The Flash (2014).S01E03.Thing You Can't Outrun.ts so I updated the wiki

No problem. I'm still considering the This Old House problem too. I haven't seen the back-to-back zap2it issue yet this fall season, maybe they changed their practice. In all other years I've seen two episodes being stored as one recording but the only one I saw, the TBBT opener, was two separate episodes.

I just wanted to let you know that the last episode of This Old House was matched "normally" for me: "Charlestown Project 2014; Gardens & Greek Revival Style" was matched to S36E05 as expected.

I have another one that I'm not sure will be able to be handled but it is "MasterChef Junior". They are using "MasterChef" as the series title and just putting "Junior Edition" in the subtitle. thetvdb has a totally different ID for "MasterChef Junior".

My last updated did have changes to do a better job on shows like TOH.

For MasterChef Jr you would need to do add the custom rename in Searchlite.xml to point to the thetvdb name

There won't be a episode name match but hopefully you get air date matches.

Files will be renamed ok but XBMC and Plex can still have problems if you also record MasterChef because of tvshow.nfo To avoid this you would need to use a recurring rule to store them to different root folder.
