Is there a way to Identify what has been archived and what hasn't? Right now if you go into a show you have no Idea what is archived or not. Or maybe show the folder name where the Show is located.?

There is no archive flag in NextPVR just different recording folders. I use this to recording directly to TV Shows and Movie folders for XBMC, with the Default being for the non-library material. I have another plan for Offline which is a USB drive which I suppose could be archive.

X-NEWA does have primarily support for the NextPVR supported colour flags but I simply implemented that as a demo of profile support for limiting access to recordings based on the colour code. There is a lot of potential with these flags.

Understood it is just a pain in the you know what .... when you move a recording to keep it and there is no Indication that you have moved it.

You can also filter by the Archive target folder. Anything on my NAS share is archived, so to speak. If you are archiving to a different location on your NPVR machine, create a share and add it to the recording directories as a share instead of a physical directory path. That way it won't be used for recording. Then you can filter by what directory you want to look at and archive to the share.

X-NEWA doesn't have the filter that NextPVR does, but the big problem that I see in NextPVR and I have mentioned it to sub is there is no filter for Default just for the Other folders. Currently NEWA doesn't provide an API to filter on directories either. You can as a work around use an Extended directory which is the same as Default.

As for not showing when it is done is the move is done as a background task by recording service. This allows you to queue requests and exit XBMC without impacting the Archive function.

I did not notice that Default was missing. Another possible NextPVR solution would be to use the Files plugin then. The only issue I've found is that it doesn't queue anything or if it does, I haven't figured it out yet. However, it does allow you to move directories at a time. It also supports external commands though I haven't played that part yet. It also is working with 3.3.8

Yep that is what is missing being able to filter by Default sort of defeats the other filters. If you cannot see what is only in the default then it sort off defeats filtering by folder.

I would like to see.
All
Default
other Folder etc...

That's why I said just add Default pointing to the same folder.

I just changed all my Series to record to a Recordings folder and avoid the default all together.
