MarkHotchkiss Wrote:Hi Sub,

Thanks so much for the updated file.

Unfortunately, I still get an unhandled exception at the same point. Fortunately, it's a new one, so I'm sure we're making progress. A new npvr.log is attached. This exception says:

Code:
Visual Styles-related operation resulted in an error because no visual
style is currently active.
Ok, this got rid of the exception I was trying to get rid of.

This new one, is really the reason you were ending up with red cross before, so really just a continuation of the problem I was expecting you to still see. I think I've got an idea how to fix this. I should have a patch you can try today.

Give this one a go. Hopefully it'll get past this visual styles problem.

Hi Martin,

Thanks for the tip, but before I had the opportunity to try your idea, Sub posted the above update, which indeed solved the last unhandled exception, an repaired the visual aspects of the "Lineup:" pull-down.

Hi Sub,

That new file does fix the "Channel Details" dialog box, but as before, when selecting "...manage lineups..." and the "Schedules Direct Lineups" dialog box opens, the "Find Lineups Available" button does nothing. I click it after verifying my username and password and entering my zip-code. I also verified the username and password by logging into the Schedules Direct web-site.

The last two NPVR.log files that I sent contain my entering the zip-code and pressing the "Find Lineups Available" button. The lack of any reaction to the button was what caused me to suspect a port-address or other proxy/network related issue, as I assume that button then requests data over the Internet.

Let me know if there is anything else I can provide, including money ;8)

Can you reproduce the problem, then post the npvr.log? ie enter your username and password, enter your zip code, select your country, hit find lineups.

Hi sub,

I did as you said, and zipped-up the npvr.log file about 30 seconds after clicking "Find Lineups Available". I would bet that the results are the same as in the previous two npvr.log files that I sent, as that is the sequence I did prior. The previous times, however, I then backed-out of all of the dialog boxes and closed nPVR before zipping the log file.

thanks again,
Mark

Annoyingly I'm getting the lines up listed for your zipcode without any problem.

Are you sure you don't have firewall software blocking outgoing requests?
