This morning I noticed that in my XBMC setup I had an entry for the Doctor Who "after" episode and not the actual episode. I double checked the recording, and it is the actual episode. I just updated imageGrabLite Thursday, and I haven't had this happen before. I think IGL is getting confused because there are tw episodes on the same day that match (or nearly match) by title.

Here's what I got in the log:
Code:

Any thoughts about enhancing imageGrabLite to use the Season/Episode information NPVR has (at least when it has it)? I'm getting better information on that since the Schedules Direct update.

The command line option --season will use the database values. The issue here is two episodes called Dark Water. The XBMC standard for extras and specials is season 0 http://kodi.wiki/view/Adding_videos_to_t...l_episodes and 140 looks correct http://thetvdb.com/?tab=season&seriesid=...6260&lid=7 so I am not sure what to do on that one.

I placed an update on the wiki. It does the season episode matching first and if that has a Subtitle or Original Air Date match then it wont try the original match logic.

Code:
2014-11-02 15:57:51.629    [DEBUG][1]    /Data/Episode[SeasonNumber = 8 and EpisodeNumber = 11]
2014-11-02 15:57:51.629    [DEBUG][1]    Found exact title match Dark Water

I also have a problem with Doctor Who and some others .... Is it possible for IGL to rename the folder. the same way it renames the title for example.

Doctor Who
Doctor Who (2005)
Doctor Who (2009)

It puts them all in the "Doctor Who" and Plex and XBMC picks them up as Doctor Who even though the file is named correctly. for ex Doctor Who (2005).S05E05.Flesh and Stone.ts is named correctly but the folder it is in is "Doctor Who"?

No, you need to point the recording at 3 separate folders so you need 2 archive because NextPVR will continue to create them in "Doctor Who" and the logic is too tough moving them. The tvshow.nfo will have the proper series name for scanning.

Guess there is no way to point the series to a different folder because they are all named Doctor Who in the guide. The only way to do this is to point each show Individually to a different folder ... not practical. Guess i Will have to move them to correct folders using other tools and not use NEXTPVR to view them only to record them.

That post is confusing since you wrote you want to rename them for Plex and xbmc and it seems to me they have the real problem as viewing in NextPVR doesn't need renaming. Moving them to different folders setup as archives is pretty simple in X-NEWA if you are looking for a tool.

Martin yeah I kinda confused my self sorry about that. I guess maybe I misunderstood you ... you mention setup as archives in X-NEWA ... guess I am not aware you can do that in X-NEWA. I guess what I really want to do is I am recording all the Doctor who's regardless of year but wanted to move then to a folder according to the year like they are in thetvdb.

The (Year) is not the Season, it is another instance of the show. I have considered creating a Season folder if that is what you are looking for but it really adds little value to database driven apps and NextPVR and NEWA don't support Season art.

No I do not care for Season folder. What I was talking about is to rename the folder the way it is on the THeTVDB. See my examples below. The way it works now is that it will put all the Doctor Who episodes in a \Doctor Who\ folder Regardless of what years it aired and ended. All the 2005 Doctor who shows and 2009 Doctor who shows plus the original Doctor Who shows are all currently going in 1 folder \Doctor Who.

This is the way Plex and XBMC expects them.
Doctor Who\Doctor Who.S01E01.EpisodeName.mp4
Doctor Who (2005)\Doctor Who (2005).S05E05.Flesh and Stone.mp4
Doctor Who (2009)\Doctor Who (2009).S01E01.EpisodeName.mp4
