channel rescans

Hi,
quick one...
I think some channels have changed frequencies and want to do a rescan.... do I have to delete all teh channels found and start again, or can I just hit rescan... will in then update any changed frequencies for teh channels in my list??? I don't really want to have to reorder everything again!

just another thought.... if I've previously spent ages removing channels I don't want - will they all pop back if I do a rescan?

Yes, you should be able to just hit scan, and it'll apply any updates, and show you any new channels.

You can always back up your npvr.db3 prior to doing it, in case there are any problems.

Thanks for the info... is there a way to prevent it adding back any channels I have previously said I don't want listed??? And just pick up any new new channels?That would be handy... like a kind of blacklist, that would always be ignored!!!

After doing the scan right click - deselect all, then peruse the list and only tick the ones you want.

That's on the wishlist recently, hopefully implemented one of these releases - the number of junk and duplicate (regional) stuff on satellite is a real pain.

Glad it's not just me ;-) - Would be great to have a list of 'I never want to see a mention of this channel again' - the Renault channel really doesn't do it for me!!!!!!!
