The missus just informed me there's a new, local to us, Freeview UK channel called 'Made In Leeds' on channel 8. How can I get this channel?

If it's just a new virtual channel on the same physical channel (or 'mux' as you lads seem to call them), then simply rescanning (in Settings->Devices->Device Setup) with the same settings should find it. If it's on a new frequency not in your .ini file, you can do a long scan using the "All Regions, All Channels" setting. If you can find out the exact frequency you can add it to your .ini file in npvr\tuning\dvb-t, and then post the file here so sub can add it to the master distribution.

A quick look at http://www.ukfree.tv/transmitters/tv/Emley_Moor_%28U%29 and it looks like it's on C56 (754.0MHz) which is not in my ini file for emley moor.
you should be able to edit the text file C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Tuning\DVB-T\United Kingdom - Yorkshire - Emley Moor.ini and add a line for this. Add 1 to the 0=6 line (6 on mine - the number of lines). and this 6=6,754000,0,0,8 and then do a re-scan. It may be wise making a backup of the ini file first. p.s. I don't think she will be missing much!

The attached ini file should include it. Note however that it's being broadcast at extremely low power - 5,000 Watts as compared to 174,000 Watts for the BBC channels - so you might not get it unless you get a strong signal. Probably best to try johnsonx42's All Regions, All Channels suggestion first and post your logs after the scan. Alex

The 'All Regions, All Channels' worked, thanks. I'd already done it before I saw the other two replies, but thanks very much for chipping in. I'm new to NPVR so I learned a bit from your replies.
I know the wife won't be missing much, but the barbershop chorus she used to sing with was on tonight. As it turned out the main TV had updated itself and she was able to watch it on there. Thanks again, Martin.

I don't think I have run NPVR since, so hopefully the logs are still current. The ini file didn't seem to work.
Martin.

Not sure if this was from an all areas scan or the tweaked ini? Code: 2014-12-01 22:17:20.097 [DEBUG][1] Switching BDA graph to tune: Anyway, it's working now !

My apologies, the ini file did work after all. I was having video and audio problems so I decided to restart from scratch, and when I reinstalled everything using the ini file from Alex, the Made In Leeds channel was there.
Thanks again, Martin.
