Skipping problems with certain recordings in Samsung app

Turns out a straight remux (copy video and audio streams directly) to .mpg or .mp4 seems to fix the skipping problems for the Samsung player. If I recall correctly, Sage would record to .mpg files directly but I don't imagine there is any way to get NPVR to record to a different file format? I suppose I could write a tool to do the remux and update the database after recording but this won't help in-progress recordings if fred gets that working.

When I decided not to bother with the Samsung SDK in 2012 transport stream playback was definitely week as was the compatibility, I had a TV and 3 BluRays I was testing with and each device had different issues. The program stream remux would get around the problems with the PMT.

For Samsung and in-progress, you could try remuxing as parallel processing, it won't help live tv.

I've been running a Quick Stream Fix down to .mpg from videoredo in postprocessing and it makes SD recordings playable and seekable with the Samsung app. No success with HD though.
