HD PVR - 0kb recordings, no live TV

I just setup NPVR 3.3.8 on a new system with an Happauge HD PVR 1212.

Whenever I try to record shows, the files are empty. I also do not get live tv. if I use the Arcsoft utility that comes with the HD PVR I can see and hear the video fine.

Do you get the blue ring light up around your HDPVR, indicating that it's locked on to a signal? If not, checked that you really chose the right input options when you created the channel.

It looks like yours is set to use component video with SPDIF audio. In the case of SPDIF, it's absolutely got to detect the SPDIF audio before it'll start delivering any data to NextPVR. Next step might be trying with RCA audio, since there is less that can go wrong.
