Reduced Channel List Message

When using one 2650 tuner to record, and watching live TV on the second, channel changes produce a "reduced channel list" message on the top right of the screen, which is not correct. I do have 2 clear QAM tuners that actually do have a reduced channel list compared to the 2650, but that does not come into play for this scenario.

what is this? any way to get rid of it?

This message is effectively telling you that with the combination of devices that are currently recording etc, you're only able to access a subset of your complete list of channels.

You'd need to give us a more info, and logs, for us to tell you why that is the case.

I do also see this from time to time, but haven't been able to properly document it. I don't watch much live tv, and when I do I almost always use the full "F1" channel guide to change channels, so I don't run into this often.

This explanation of the symptom might give you a clue of where to look though: when it happens to me, the pgup/pgdn channel change AND the up/dn quick-guide give me only the last minor channel of each group of channels with the same major number; all other channels, including those with only major # and no minor #, are "gone". However, the "F1" full channel guide has all channels available, and I can tune to any channel I want.
