Files Plugin crashes when there is an ' in the file name.

This time the failure was immediate, no files were moved at all, same GPF signature as before. So I selected the first directory and no others, this time the first file moved and then the GPF again. The files showing up in the log are not moving, so the error is happening at the beginning of the process instead of the end of the process.

The two files this time were actually locked because they were being actively recorded. I tried to move the the second one again and got a move failure message because it was in use by another process as I would expect

I'd like to be able to control the number of rows and provide more/less detail on the row itself with alt-b but that makes a complicated skin.

Yep if you go that way I feel it would most likely be time for a revision of how things are done .... in other words think skin right from the start rather than modifying what we already have... if that makes any sense at all??

I don't see adding any channel icons or meta-art but more text from the database on recordings is possible, tmrt includes mediainfo.dll too so I could add more details on the file resolution since I have some SD recordings, I'd like to replace with HD.

I agree re:the icons/meta-art..... prob best just to display an SD or HD image much like the YouTube plugin does for that part as it will take up less room

From my first look apart from a few minor tweaks your draft skin looks pretty much ready to go to me..... I'm just about out of a job as far as skins for your plugins are concerned these days, which is good

oooo, could we get resume points excluded or resume ability like recordings screen?
viewing recordings in Files erases my resume point for that file..
exempting Files from resume processing is fine[eg. not storing new resume point, keeping old one], but i think total resume ability like recordings screen would be best..[with popup asking to resume or start over]

I will think about it, I was planning of using the same popup as recording as a place to Delete plus I don't like accidentally playing files and Resume Unwatch there aren't bad ideas either.

multi-select doesn't work for commands, only the highlighted file gets acted upon, selections don't do anything..
could we have it just run the 'command' on each selection sequentially?
say you select file1,file2,file3...when running command, run 'command file1' then 'command file2' ,etc...

i'm currently running comskip command w/status line, ffmpeg command w/status line, file info[ffprobe displaying on status line], and my own archiving batches [copy w/progress on status line].. all working great...

well except for my copy w/progress...ansi block character doesn't show properly.."▒"
can we get the status line font changed to somehow display ansi chars? or at least be non-variable width font?

I can't see any reason we couldn't change it to use the standard windows arial font for this if that would help??

well,wanted a fixed width font, like terminal,etc.... but not a biggie...
figured out a workaround, the bar graph was really just eye candy..
much more interested in the multi-selection ability..
whether for comskipping a bunch of files, or ffmpeg-ing stuff i want to shrink, it would come in totally handy, and i'm unaware of any other way to do it from remote..
is it that hard to pass the selection list to the batch file?

Definitely crashing when trying to move a file that is locked for whatever reason, any update on a potential fix? Other than paying attention to what I'm selecting that is

I did note it was a problem, but I'm not sure I am going to bother handling it. I wouldn't know what to say in a dialog if for example it was one of the set of files, someone might be playing the .mp4 and not the .ts file. If I leave the bug in, at least it will mean people might be more cautious when archiving.
