I've been using dtvTune.exe for ages on my DirecTV tuner box. No batch files or extras. I put it in the same directory as the NextPVR program and call it from in the NextPVR configuration as an executable to change the channel.

Kayleigh,
Thanks for the input. dtvTune was my plan but I was unsure how to implement it.... "call it from in the NextPVR configuration as an executable to change the channel." was the part I did not get - new to nextpvr. Ronald

I'm confused, not sure what to add into next PVR. I can change the channel with the HTTP command in my browser but I can't seem to get it to work in next PVR.

Did you copy all four files from the two zips into the NPVR program directory? What are you using for the argument? I used to use C:\DTVipcontrol.exe /i 192.168.0.24 /c %c for Colossus in WMC and it worked great - can't get that to work in NPVR. (WMC no longer working for me)

C:\DTVipcontrol.exe /i 192.168.0.24 /c ... in Executable and ... {channel} ... in Arguments (I'm guessing the /c %c in your command). http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...etupDialog

Graham Wrote:There's this ... http://forums.nextpvr.com/archive/index....54137.html Nope didn't work. I have confirmed the executable is ok in a command window, so it's somewhere in the way NPVR sees it.

check nrecord.log for the actual command string that was sent.
