I have a single broadcast channel that shows up on my Panasonic TV without issue. The TV says it has 92% signal strength on this channel.
I can tune to it in nextpvr and the screen will stay black for up to a minute or two and then eventually, the signal starts playing.
Reading around on the web, some people suggest that the broadcaster could be the source of the problem. One thread suggested using TSReader to gather some additional information about the station.
I've launched TSReader several times to look at this channel and it displays information about the channel.
I launched it recently and it said that it failed to lock signal. I tried it again and then it locked.
I'm guessing that nextpvr continues to try and lock on to the signal until it finally get's it.
Is the problem here with the broadcaster not having their transport stream configured correctly? What could I do to see if the broadcaster is the problem? Or do you think it's my TV Tuner card (ASUS EHC3-150)?
Thanks!
