I thought this was going to Include the changes to Tuner not available in RPI? Using your previous system file everything worked great using the 5.01 release get the same errors as before.

The changes are supposed to be there but no one tested my 14.1 from the 27th I gave up trying to help, I don't even use the PVR Addon and if there is no interest why should I bother.

If you want send your debug Kodi logs, I will be able to see if there is another problem.

No problem do not sweat it if there is no demand for it. I appreciate what you have done and your time.

Shit, I see the same thing. Sorry if I was frustrated earlier this whole pvr add development cycle sucks. I will rebuild from the repo and post my results in a bit.

Four hours and too many boots of my slow RPi later I am stumped. I believe 14.1 should work on the RPi with timeshift turned off, but with it turned on I think you need to use this update http://d-h.st/uF8f which has a one line change to enable logging.

My md5 before uploading is the same as they calculated 905bd29439243668eec5de8dc8e4f398

For this just replace the OE 5.0.1 SYSTEM file with the archived update.

You are correct 5.0.1 works without timeshift .... after downloading your System and replacing mine It works with timeshift so all is well with your system file.

mvallevand Wrote:Are there any other RPi users out there that are planning on testint? It would be nice to know if this works for more users and sub can likely get it built now in 14.1 if things are good. Otherwise it will be long wait for 15 to be stable and lots of posts that the NextPVR doesn't work with the RPi.

Martin

I just set up a "new" B+ yesterday and I am know just enough to be dangerous to the whole Linux thing. I just managed to add the key for the mpeg 2 decoder after a couple of hours of searching out where config.txt was at.

The stock with Kodi seems to work fine but I am always happy to test things out, that is why I got the Pi Cool

mvallevand Wrote:Here is a test build for the RPi with some mods to sub's code that seems to work on the RPi. It includes the latest Helix changes that aren't accepted yet.

http://d-h.st/ql2u Be careful for adware on the site you will want system.7z

The md5 checksum if you need it, is 62915486a82d85ebf3bac9d11d87444e

To install update or create an a normal OE 5.0 SD card by replacing SYSTEM with the file in this archive. You can save the original on your system if you'd like.

I'd be interested in any feedback. I tried timeshift and normal, both seem ok now.

Good luck.

Martin

martin, what is the difference of using this test build comparing to download the vanilla OE 5.0.x and activate the NPVR module and installing X-NEWA?
