Using NextPVR to Record Roku 3

I am thinking of buying a Hauppauge HD PVR 2 and an HDMI stripper from Amazon to record from the Roku 3 using NextPVR. Would this work? I used GB-PVR for many years with my SD setup, and it worked great.

Yep, sure it could record from a Roku using an HDPVR2.

For manual recording I'd say just use the Hauppauge Capture app? I've tried PPV via NextPVR and it can be painful.

It's most likely down to the AAC decode you've got selected on the Settings->Decoders screen.

Under decoders, it says AAC audio is disabled.

Yep, and this will mean no audio. As mentioned in the post above, try the LAV audio decoder.

I've returned the HD PVR 2 and ordered a Colossus 2. If the issue persists with the Colossus 2, I'll try the LAV audio decoder.

I received the Colossus 2 today. I have no audio issues now. One question, though. I can't remember how to do a manual recording in NextPVR. I can just go to the TV Guide and record a block of programming for the times in the grid. How do I do a manual recording?
