I don't recall that I have ever enabled multi-record. It just happens.

What are your symptoms? For example, is NextPVR failing to use a single tuner to record two (or more) simultaneous broadcasts that are on a single frequency / mux / multiplex?

Sometimes it probably just happens like that, when there are too many tuners for the program to choose.

If u are getting the 2 tuners to record the different channels, then maybe u can try deleting the set of same-frequency channels on the second tuner, and only let the remaining tuner have the same-frequency channels.

I can see how it might go haywire if you receive, for example, channels on three muxes , A and B and C. A tuner might be recording a channel on Mux A and recordings are scheduled to start for channels on Mux B and Mux C. The Mux A recording might be stopped to allow the start of one of the recordings on another mux.

Can you recreate the problem and post the logs that show it happening ... http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post480931

Does it cut during post padding or during the scheduled recording? Remember that pre- and post padding are considered "nice to have if possible" by npvr.

Hope NPVR can be forced to use the same tuner for recording of same mux. Or else sometimes may get a no tuner available message when last minute want to add in a recording of another mux. And have to cancel existing recording, add in new mux recording, add back deleted recordings.
