Windows 10 Wake to Record Not Working

Hello,

I know it probably isn't tested much yet, but since Windows 10 isn't going to allow Media Center any longer, I decided to look into some alternatives.
NextPVR + Kodi seems like the best option.
I installed it on Windows 8.1 x64 and everything was working perfectly.
The system would wake from sleep a couple minutes before recording time, then idle back to sleep once finished.
I then upgraded to the latest Windows 10 build (10074) and it no longer wakes up properly.
Checking the logs and the Event Viewer, it appears to still request the wake up, but the system doesn't do it.
I checked to make sure all drivers are installed and up to date as well.
I have attached a zip file of the logs in case there is something I missed.

Has anyone else run into this?
Will there be support for Windows 10?

I really hope there is a solution, or maybe it is just something broken in Windows 10 currently.
I am going to submit feedback to Microsoft as well just in case.

Will it wake if you set something up in the Windows scheduler?

Good question, I will try that when I have a moment.
Thanks!

Some of the functions that are built in to Win 10 itself don't even work properly yet. I think that Win 10 is changing far too much and too often to spend much time debugging a program running on top of it just yet. They call it BETA code for a reason. Wink Once they announce RTM then perhaps give it a try and see what has changed.

I think it's a bit too early to expect much from W10. They appear to want to throw away the good in Windows and replace it with Apple-like things. But then again, everything is going that way.
I may even revisit Ubuntu in the near future.

Well, it's releasing in 2 months, so I'd say it's time to start at least looking at it...

With that, I created a task that should wake the computer and run notepad, but it did not...
Maybe they broke the ability to wake from a task/service in this build.

The last several builds by the look of it - but not for everyone. (Googled it)
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh

You're right.
Here's one such thread: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insid...01dabcfe75

I just loaded it on my desktop for the first time a few days ago.
I've been running it on my Surface Pro 3 since the first build, but that one shouldn't be waking itself anyway so I never noticed the problem.

Hopefully they get this fixed soon.
