Can´t play one of the channels.

Hi

I have a problem with playing one of the channels.

My setup Nextpvr 3.4.8 installed on Windows 8.1, i have a HDHomeRun HDHR3-4DC.

Alle channels play fine with HDHomeRun View, but in NextPVR one of the channels (TV2 - Danmark HD) will not play.

Black screen and no audio is all i get. I also use Kodi with NextPVR as backend on my android phone, it also play all channels, execpt this one channel. (tuner no longer available)

I have tried recording from the channel in question and it plays fine, both in NextPVR and VLC.

Tried disable firewall, but i guess that is not the issue, as both recording and the other channels works. Tried reinstall all software, rebooting all devices, but still the same problem.

I noticed that there is no .ts file generated when trying to play the channel.

What am i missing here. Its driving my crazy that i can´t get this one channel working.

What do you mean when you say that the channel plays fine in NextPVR and VLC?? Playing a channel don't create a .ts file, except a temporary file in the buffer directory.
Is that channel by chance encrypted?

I mean that if i make a recording of the channel, that recording plays fine, with both Picture and sound.

For me to be able to reproduce it in live tv, you might need to use Capture4ME from http://www.capture4me.com (a utility written by me), to capture a 1 minute full TS from that frequency, then upload it to somewhere like dropbox or onedrive. The eval version of Capture4ME only lets you capture 1 minute at a time, which is all I need.

I'll then be able to use it with a signal generator here.

Sorry, I pointed you at the wrong app. I meant to point you at TSCapture from http://www.tscapture.com (another app of mine). It has the "record full transport stream" option which we'd need. This option captures the full data stream for that frequency, including multiple channels etc.

Was this for a minute? It should have been significantly larger.

Yes it was a minute. Tried record from another frequency and the file size is about the same.

11MB? It should have been more like 200MB.
