my objective is to be able to minimize the window to have more space on screen for other things like chat and such and just have the software render the gameplay, thats it, my problem is that it goes down to 30 fps when i minimize the window and i want to know if there is a way to not have that happen

The way I see it, this isn't a NextPVR issue, and there is nothing I could do about it. You might get lucky with another renderer though.

Usually people are only interested in what the video looks like when the Windows is visible. My guess is that Window's or the video render is throwing these extra frames when the window is minimized, on the assumption "if the window is minimized, no one will be looking at the video". NextPVR wouldn't have any control over that.

All your recordings made by NextPVR will be the full frame rate all the way through though. ie, this is strictly a playback thing though.

ok thank you admin, if you could please instruct me on how to add video encoders to the menu id appreciate it Smile, ive done some testing and some games do lower the framerate while minimized and some dont, so its not clear on what could be it but i AM interested in changing the encoder if possible Smile
