Record Button closes EPG Overlay on TV programme

Hello,

I've found that when I press the record button on my remote (CTRL+K) when I have the TV guide overlaid on a TV programme I'm watching, it will set the selected programme to record, but closes the TV guide. This behaviour is different to 3.3.8 which would keep the TV guide open, allowing more recordings to be scheduled.

Is there a setting that controls this? I've maybe missed it.

I'm pretty sure this are of the app hasn't changed, and is exactly the same as 3.3.8 was.

Hi sub,

I've just tested it. I'm using a Hauppauge remote. If I press record on the overlay TV guide, the guide exits. If I bring the guide up again, the recording is highlighted red. I can then press record again, this indicates cancelled recording by returning the program colour to grey, and the TV guide remains on screen.

I've attached the log if it is any help.

I'm seeing the exact same behavior. It happens with the EPG overlay both with LiveTV and watching recorded TV.

It's definitely different behavior than 3.3.8.

Looking at the code, it looks like it would have been the same in the last release, but you can see if this change does the job for you.
