New to NextPVR but have it working. Running Windows 8.1 with 2 Hauppauge 2250 cards. Records great and plays TV most of the time. My issue is the changing of channels in live tv mode. It hangs up often and says can't change because tuner recording, but I have nothing recording plus 4 different tuners.

Attached are my logs, nice product . I use video Render EVR and ffdshow video recorder. Sound and everything works.

Attached are my log files.

Thanks barry

There is a file in your zip called "NextPVR Abort.txt". Do you get this error message when the problem occurs?

You seem to missing "nrecord.log" in that zip file. I'd ideally like to see a matching npvr.log and nrecord.log from immediately after the error occurs.

Yes often, but mostly it just hangs up. Just happens when I change channels, sometimes it works.

Can you post another set of logs immediately after it happens, so I can get that matching npvr.log and nrecord.log?

I tried to recreate the problem, but it will not hang like before. Even recorded 2 shows while watching live TV. Takes about 3 to 4 seconds per channel change, but seems to be working.
Thanks for the help.

Ok, good.

Channel change speed is dependent on several factors, like tuning speed of the tuner you're using, some decoders are quicker than others at starting playback. There are some other technical factors like GOP size of the stream etc, which also effect the channel change time. If everything goes your way, you can get channels as low as one second.

Seems the .net framework error is back. I included the logs.

That zip file didn't include either npvr.log or nrecord.log (only the older backups of these files).

These are the log files for the most recent run.

Sorry about that, here are the entire files. Also I installed Win TV 8 and everything worked fine. No delay on channels and no hang ups. Hopefully I can get NextPVr working, seems comparable to Media center, even better in some areas.

Thanks
Barry
