NextPVR Issues after Windows 10 Upgrade

Hi,

Things were working great ... and then I upgraded to Windows 10. Sigh ... . Now I cannot connect to my DCR-2650, keep getting the error about unable to find any available capture devices. But FYI, running WinTV8 on the same PC -> it works, I get video out.

Here is what I tried with NextPVR,
- opening the program, went to Live TV -> no available capture devices.
- tried to go to devices, device setup, and scan channels -> just hangs
- hit cancel -> Unhandled Exception (info below)

Any thoughts? BTW, I can also access the DCR-2650 from IE, look at the settings, etc. And the NextPVR log is attached (NPVR.log).

Do you have a "C:\Program Files\SiliconDust\HDHomeRun\hdhomerun_config.exe"? It looks like failing when it tries to run this.

Nope, it's not installed - this is a Hauppauge DCR-2650.

FYI, I did try to install the SiliconDust SW to try to help debug, but not joy so I removed it (before the thread above). Thoughts?

You MUST INSTALL the SiliconDust software even though your model is sold under the Hauppauge name. NextPVR uses the hdhomerunconfig.exe image to access the DCR-2650!

Thanks so much! I admit, a bit confused, as I only did an upgrade, but perhaps this broke something. In any case, I reinstalled the SiliconDust software (post-upgrade) - and even though that SW says it can't see my DCR-2650, it fixed my NextPVR issues. Thanks!

Minor note, but is this captured somewhere? It may be, and I may just have missed it - if I did my apologies for that ... . But if not, perhaps something good to capture?
