Hey there,

So with MC2XML not working any more, I decided to make the switch to Schedules Direct and I have yet to be able to get it to work. Aside from the channel numbers being totally screwy (which I'm working around slowly) USBIRT is no longer sending the channel change signals to my direct TV boxes. Actually to be more precise, the channel is not changing when I try to watch TV, I'm not sure what the cause is. It is stuck on ESPN, which isn't the WORST problem to have, but I digress...

Attached are the logs when I tried to tune to channel 2, maybe you guys can see something in them. The channel change command should be in the logs around 4:25 - 4:27p today.

When I switched over to schedules direct, I did re-map all the channels, but did not change the blaster program or commands.

Any help would be appreciated, There is only so much sports center I can watch...

Thanks!!

Jim

I can see it's definitely attempting to run your specified blaster:

Quote:2015-09-28 19:11:31.202 [INFO][44] Running blaster: C:\USBUIRTSend.exe "C:\H24Z1.dat" 206
Is the that command line you'd expect to see?

Schedules Direct isn't working because your account has expired:

yes that's the blaster command line except 206 doesn't seem like the correct channel.

EDIT: Wait, actually 206 is ESPN. Why would it try to tune to 206 when channel 2 was selected?

EDIT 2: I rechecked the logs and that call to channel 206 was from an earlier selection. Please check out the blaster call at 16:27

I just started my 2 month free trial with schedules direct last week. Does it have to be a full paid account?

Could the USBIRT be bad? It would be really weird timing, but I guess anything is possible... Any thoughts on how to test it?

According to http://www.schedulesdirect.com, they provide a 7 day trial. It says you can get 2 months for $6, or full year for $25.

If you can run that same command line and it works, then there is no reason it shouldn't work from NextPVR too.

I can only go by the messages I can see in the logs. You might have had some other problem previously, but is definitely expired now. I think the Schedules Direct guys will usually let you extend the trial for a little longer if you email them.

Yep, I noticed that as well.

With most recent patches the app does now show them when their account expires.

I'll ask Schedules Direct to supply an expired account for me to test with.
