Issue resolved now. Probably user error...

I am with Slayer on this one as I keep getting the same error and I have tried everything... I think Smile I did manage to get the ipanel working but since I am keeping with the BlueMCE skin I would like to get just the menu "Sys Info" item working. Has anyone got this working other than the I-Panel functionality? or is the menu item considered a future development? (I ask this since the Sys Info plugin within GBPVR config control panel has a button stating "Coming Soon")

Any help would be appreciated as this looks like a handy plugin.

As info here, IF your hard drive has temp sensors (and i only use IBM which are now Hitachi) and all these do for there Deskstar and Ultrastar (SCSI) drives.

When you start MBM when you go to select a temprature sensor instead of "Sensor x" it will have the Hard Drive ID name or number against it, as your internal Monitor IC will pic it up.

I only use SuperMicro boards as well and these are great, thing is my large dual board was UK £700. Been working for well over 6 years though.

Many Thanks
Ashley

So if anyone is using MBM and it can see their HD temps, could you enable the "Interval Log" and email me a copy please.

I get the "object error" message when i try and click the SysInfo button.

I have used the 0.2a code with GB-PVR v0.92.11.

I have amended my config.xml, in pluginSettings section:
<SysInfoPlugin>
<Version>0.2a</Version>
<Mbm5>c:\\Program Files\\Motherboard Monitor 5\\Log\\MBM 5 Interval Log.xml</Mbm5>
</SysInfoPlugin>

I added the following to the skin.xml file:
<SpecialElement name="Panel" panelName="SysInfoPanel" visible="true" loc="500,100" size="180,80"/>

MBM5 is running and the xml file is being generated in the correct place.

What else do I need to do to get this working?

The author of this plugin hasn't been back here since March 16, 2005. I doubt we are going to get much support from him on this one.

Here is the link to the .01 file..."http://www.reddick.co.uk/Sysinfo_0.1a.zip"

Just copy that .dll file into your GB-PVR directory (assuming you already installed .02a) and see if it works for you..wish you luck Smile
