Well here is my two cents.

I went and hooked up a secondary HDHomeRun Prime on my network 4 weeks ago, got it paired and everything reported as working. With the exception I couldn't scan and find any channels...I returned the cable card back to Comcast & grabbed a different one...did the pairing thing again...and bam everything was working.

So it might be your cable card.

Oh be extremely anal about verifying all values you give Comcast...have them read them back to you, to help ensure things all sync up.

It will, but only if Comcast in your area is using copy-freely.

None of Kodi backend options are any different in this regard - none of them will let watch channels that are copy protected.

Well, WMC on its own only supports 4 tuners. I have a 6 tuner Ceton. I tried installing the My Media Center app Ceton provides. That might have taken away that limit, but WMC now claims my system isnt "digital cable ready." :confused:

Well four tuners is a synthetic limitation, WMC can be expanded by using TunerSalad.

Course I thought Ceton drivers removed that limitation...

Ceton appears to have their own solution. WMC doesn't complain about that. Just that the system isn't ready without explanation.
