Video Problems NextPVR latest version

I have windows 10, AMD motherboard with quad processor, AMD Radeon 7700 Series video card, LG 60LN5600 TV, AMD HD Sound, SilconeDust HD HomeRun Connect for OTA channel capture, Schedules Direct for schedule

I am using AMD drivers for video and Microsoft drivers for sound (I have tried the AMD sound drivers but it makes no difference)

The normal play of recorded show is fine except the screen is a little under size and there is occasional flicker (the normal windows 10 screen is normal is size because I used the AMD Catalyst control to under scan slightly)

The major problem is fast forward. The sound will fast forward but the picture is very delayed (so much that sometimes it think it has crashed)

I really want this fixed, I love this program - it is so clean and simple and the only thing that really works outside of the old Microsoft PVR

Many of us use SAF to install a set of decoders that usually work well anywhere and anywhen. Send a forum private message to Hoborg to get the "unlocked" version that includes the "best" decoders.

As Graham is suggesting above, I suspect it's related to the video decoder you're using. I'd try a different decoder.

Your logs show it using "AMD Video Decoder", which isn't a commonly used video decoder. This decoder might have some quirks.

I have tried that decoder (AMD) and it does NOT work!

Graham has the answer. I was with the AMD decoders and had problems and the SAF fixed the problem 100%.

sent a PM to Horborg about the decoder unlocking, no reply yet. Not sure what to expect! Does he replay daily on just weekly. I assume he has the SAF decoders locked to they do not go everywhere or is there another reason?

The unlocked one may not be legal in your country.

OK - installed the SAF IT SOLVED MY VIDEO PROBLEMS!!!

but, now I have no subtitles. I am sure there is some setting I missed. Looked at the documentation and no help.

Any Ideas?
