Some black channels in NextPVR

I'm having a similar problem to others on this forum. I've searched and tried everything in threads I could find regarding this issue.
I get certain blanks channels when viewing live TV thru NPVR app. It's only about 3 of the 13 OTA channels that are affected. The channels affected all have about 70%+ signal strength.
Some of the channels work sometimes and then when I hit one that doesn't, the channels three affected don't work. The channels are 8.2, 15.2, and 43.3 (8.1, 15.1 and 43.1&2 always work!)

So far, I've downloaded the CCCP and SAF 6. I've enabled the NPVR programs through the firewall for public and private. I'm almost certain it's a decoder issue. The channels work fine in the HDHR view app all the time. As well as VLC through the HDHR config. (The channels also don't work in Kodi but I figure it's a related issue as I'm using the NPVR plugin for Kodi.)
The options I have for decoders are:

mpg2: LAV Video Decoder, Cyberlink Video Decoder (PDVD10), Cyberlink Video/SP Decoder (PDVD10)
h264: LAV Video Decoder, Cyberlink Video Decoder (PDVD10), Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder

mpg1: LAV Audio Decoder, Cyberlink Audio Wizard, Cyberlink Audio Decoder (PDVD10)
ac3: LAV Audio Decoder, Cyberlink Audio Wizard, Cyberlink Audio Decoder (PDVD10)
e-ac3: LAV Audio Decoder
aac: LAV Audio Decoder, Cyberlink RealAudio Decoder (PDVD10), Cyberlink Audio Decoder (PDVD10)
he-aac: LAV Audio Decoder


I've attached my log and a 1min .ts file to see if it plays (it's NOT 0kb but it doesn't play for me in VLC).

Can you download TSCapture (from http://www.tscapture.com), and do a 1 minute full transport stream recording (the evaluation will let your record a minute), then share the file for me on somewhere like dropbox etc? I'll try replicating the issue here.

I tried but TSCapture isn't finding any channels during the scan.

You might need to temporarily disable your firewall. I'm guessing it's blocking traffic from the HDHR from getting to TSCapture. The NextPVR Installer adds a firewall exclusion. I haven't added an equivalent firewall exclusion in the TSCapture installer.

Thanks got the file.

It seems that WGLA-DT channel isn't broadcasting any audio/video data. It is transmitting some metadata, but the channel audio/video streams are not there. Is this a real channel that'd you'd receive from a TV? I'm guessing it's not. Maybe it's a hidden channel they're experimenting with?

In summary, there is nothing I could do in NextPVR to fix this. The audio/video streams are just not there. My guess is it's a test channel.

How would it show in HDHR view? I was able to view that .ts file recorded from tscapture in dropbox as well as in VLC player.

That was from the wgal main tower. They also have a tower up here near me. I re-recorded a minute from that signal.
The .ts file recorded thru tscapture plays in vlc player. I then went into NPVR and tried to record a minute of the same program. That .ts file does not play. The channel shows up fine in HDHR.

I can play capture.ts in NextPVR (with the parrot and car) I am using Win 10 MS DTV-DVD audio and video. I do see a lot of 0x8100 is the log whatever that code means

Ok sorry I though you said no video in the deleted message. This is the kind of problem I had when I used to use NextPVR as the source for my HDHR.

There is two channels on that frequency. Only one of them has audio/video data in those capture.ts files.
