Channel mapping mistake

It wont be to do with individually mapping channels. You're fine to do that. It'll be to do with your multiple attempts to add and remove lineups. ie, you're supposed to just add your lineups once, then map your channels to them.

Schedules Direct has logic to temporarily disable lineup changes if it looks like you're changing the lineup over and over, since this is a very suspicious looking activity.

BTW, I've added better reporting of this error for the next release. It'll now popup a box and telling you "Exceeded maximum number of lineup changes for today" if you try to add a lineup and get this error.

What does this mean? Happens when I try to start npvr service. Stops ok wont start.

It means it can't start the recording service. We've had a few people recently that got this problem. I'm not sure why.

What output do you get when you run the following at a command prompt?

Schedules direct is working. It still insist on mapping the channel to a channel other than it self. meaning I get listing for the wrong channel.

Do you mean, when it automapped the channels? If so, it's probably a case of the channel number being wrong in the Schedules Direct service.

It's an easy fix though. Just go into the Settings->Channels screen, double clicking on the channel with the incorrect mapping, and selecting the correct channel to get listings from. Then hit the 'empty epg' button, followed by the 'update epg' button.

Got it fixed. I was using the wrong lineup DUH

Didn't know what I was doing Got it now. Sorry bout the headache. I was trying to map the wrong zip code to the channels. Thanks for your help I'll donate. I'm a senior disable Vietnam vet.
