They don't transmit the standard DVB EPG on the DVB-T system in New Zealand, so you only typically get the a few shows pulled in, so if you've got it configured for the DVB EPG, I'd expect you to find your guid empty most of the time. Typically users of the DVB-T system in NZ would use XMLTV (from somewhere like EPGCollector).

That said, the next release adds support for full guide on DVB-T in New Zealand.

Why did I enjoy the luxury of having NEXTNPVR and Kodi working together without any issues from August this year until around 2 weeks ago. I have had absolutely no problem for over 4 months.

That is the way I see it as well. Everything between NEXTPVR and Kodi were functioning perfectly and I used it almost every day to either watch or record.
So ........ are we saying we have exhausted all avenues? Sounds like the logs are not telling you much of a story?

To be honest, I've only had a quick look, but nothing stood out. Unfortunately I'm pretty snowed under with my day job right now, and getting ready for new NextPVR release tomorrow.

Things are easier to look into when they're in NextPVR itself. Kodi logs are all greek to me.

I'd probably be better placed to look into it in a few days.

OK thanks again for your help. I just thought I would mention one more thing. When the screen freezes as the connection is lost, I always get a small dialogue box at the top of the screen which displays the buffering has stopped and is running at 0%. I suppose you would expect it, but thought maybe "Buffering" is a clue?
Anyway good luck with the next release.

Hi .... if you mean did I reset the PVR/EPG data base. When I select, "System < Settings > TV", I get the screen shown as the EPG 2 jpeg file I have attached. I notice in a YouTube help clip, that it should show up on that screen as per the EPG 1 file I have sent. My Kodi Version has a category named "Guide" instead of EPG.
So I did what it said and deleted the cache guide and it immediately reimported all the channels but It has not made any difference? I closed Kodi down, relaunched and got the same error immediately.

Is there any chance we can revisit this query? I downloaded and installed your new version of NextPVR hoping it may cure the connection problem but NO. I don't know a lot about IP address, but I took a snapshot of my active connections and have attached them to this post. Maybe one of these culprits is causing a clash? There are a number of 127.0.0.1 addresses at the top of the list, but I would not have a clue as to what programs they represent? Any figured it may be worth mentioning.
