NextPVR 3.6.6 pressing F9 twice generate and exception

Setup on client is NextPVR 3.6.6 on Win 7 x64, MPEG2 Video Decoder Cyberlink PDVD13. AC3 AC3 Filter.

Hi,

did the problem start with npvr v3.6.6? And does this only happen on the client? In the logs, there's a caught runtime exception within the internal SkinHelper, however, that shouldn't be the cause for the crash.

The video continue to play, but the exception keep popping up what ever you click, alt-f4, esc, so NextPVR is useless in that state.

Can not say about F9 with 3.5.7, I only use that in 3.6.6.
It does it on the server in TV Listings, not in TV Recordings where it behave correctly bringing the TV recordings menu with the video in the bottom left corner.

So I installed the latest 3.6.6 from Dec 07, and my problem with NPVR crashing with MainConcept (HCW) MPEG Video seems to be related to TV Listings ...

Here is a log of Playing the same recording with
1 TV Guide exit (esc) is fine
2 TV Listing exit is fine
3 TV Listing exit freeze NextPVR

It looks like it doesn't remove the graph correctly

I installed the patch on the client NPVR, not the server NPVR
however the log reports two versions of the plugin?


F9 F9 in tvlistings didn't bring the screen on bottom of screen with tvlisting menu

Second time I try with F1 and it froze again

But sometimes F1 F1 esc is fine

The recordings continue playing fine, but no access to anything, mouse cursor becomes invisible and the exeption popup keeps coming back

Tried with TV Guide, TV Recordings no hang but no screen in bottom left corner, but there are error in the log files

So I changed the TVlistings on the server NPVR
and again the log shows 2 versions of the plugin, even on the NPVR server

Hi,

please try and move the old version of the tv listings dll away from the plugin directory (yes, even if you renamed it or changed the file extension) - otherwise it might still get loaded.

I remove the old plugin from the folder and now it report only one version of the plugin
F9 behave correctly now , same with F1
