I've installed NextPVR 3.6.6 as an alternative to Windows Media Center before I move to Windows 10.
Currently running Windows 7 64 bit
Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250
using the included remote & IR blaster
My cable provider is Shaw (in Canada) and I have a set top box (Motorola DCT700/US) providing my TV signal

Everything works fine under Media Center
Under NextPVR i have a picture and sound.

When I attempt to change the channel using the remote on NextPVR I see the channel digits on the OSD, the channel name/title changes as well
There is a pause, but the channel never changes to the channel I entered from the remote.

I've attached the NextPVR log file

Any and all help correcting this issue is greatly appreciated

Sincere regards

Are you using the HVR-2250's blaster? Did you configure the blaster in the Hauppauge BlastCFG utility?

You'll need to post the nrecord.log too, so I can check it's calling the blaster.

It looks like NextPVR is living up to it's end of the bargain. It's successfully running your blaster executable each time you record or change channels.

Quote:2015-12-10 16:16:54.309 [INFO][21] Running blaster: D:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR\HaupBlast.exe 25

What happens beyond that is up to the Hauppauge software, and where you've placed the IR blaster in relation to your STB's receiver etc. ie, look in Hauppauge BlastCFG software, use it's test feature etc.
