mc2xml no longer works. It stopped working back in July when Microsoft changed their EPG data provider.

Pretty much everyone in North America is using Schedules Direct these days.

Can you guys update the wiki and remove mc2xml from the list then (for EPGs)? Had I known, I wouldn't have even tried. Thanks!

You can still use mc2xml, but not using it's default "Microsoft media center legacy service" (since it wont generate any current listings). You'd need to be using it's other sources, which means using the donators version. This explained on the mc2xml website when you download it.

I've added some comments to that effect on the wiki.

Thanks! But the directions don't appear to work on the mc2xml page once you click the link about creating the batch file. Anyway. I'll end it here since we're getting off topic. I've gone ahead and signed up for a 7 day trial to schedule direct. Last question though... can I turn off auto update EPG or do I need to keep this on?

I'm sure someone will get around to updating the documentation one day. It's not unusual for documentation to be way out of date Big Grin

I do this project as a hobby, and I have no interest in writing any documentation.

Yeah, you can turn if off if you want.
