I've upgraded to the latest 3.6.6 and now my posters for the recordings are all wrong. An example is the TV series Bones. Prior to 3.6.6 (and without using the "Show new metadata screens in Recordings"), they worked fine. Now in version 3.6.6, the poster is for "Bag of Bones" from Stephen King and starring Pierce Brosnan. Another example is The Player. It appears to possibly be a movie about Ace Frehley.

Anyone else seeing incorrect artwork or know how to correct this? I tried messing with the new Artwork settings screen but no luck.

If you're Schedules Direct user, try going into the Settings->Artwork screen, and untick the themoviedb and thetvdb. If you delete the artwork from c:\users\public\npvr\media\shows, then try viewing them again, do the correct files end up in c:\users\public\npvr\media\shows?

I'm using the donated version of mc2xml. It appears the media is being downloaded from The Movie DB. I iterated through the 4 sources and deleted the media\shows folder in between each iteration and only The Movie DB appeared to download anything...though it was incorrect. For the other three sources, it would only create a catalog.xml file with no real info inside of it.

Does your xmltv source provide zap2it/schedulesdirect style unique identifiers? The first couple of letters are used to give an indication if it's a movie (MV) or tvshow (EP or SH), and it'll use this info to determine the best place to search for artwork. If you don't have these, it pretty much tries all the artwork sources enabled, and picks one of those that returned a result.

If you want to provide your npvr.db3, I can check. I could also check some of the other shows you have recordings for, which give problematic artwork.

It doesn't look like it. I'm using the Microsoft service and here is a sample of Bones and Sleepy Hollow:

Just curious,

Does the <icon> tag contain the correct images?

They're not the same shape as the poster style images that NextPVR displays.

Technically, they are for the correct TV series (though the Bones image has something to be desired). And as Sub says, they are not the same shape and the requested image size is pretty small so scaling it larger might look pretty bad.
