I had a problem installing at first...don't know why. When I woudl watch TV, the installer would run. I just ran installer again (chose "modify"...repair would fail), and it worked. No problems since.

Has anyone had issues with their reoccurring recordings not transferring to the new version? I just noticed that none of my recordings have been running over the past few days. I ended up having to delete the old entries in my Reoccurring list and recreate them.

Sub, I see ratdvd support as been added, I'm looking forward to giving it a try. I was wondering if this release (or any future release) will support ratdvd on the MVP.

Quote:Hi i also have a ati550pro and same problem with the 0byte recordingI'm guessing you've stuff the config.xml file and its now unreadible. If you edit the file with Wordpad it can do this, as some people accidentally use the RTF option which turn it into an invalid XML file. Make sure it is saved as text. If you still cant get it to go, delete the file, and take a copy of config-master.dont-edit-me.xml and rename it config.xml to get back to the starting point. Make sure you use notepad to edit the file.

I'm just using the author's playback components, which arent compatible with the MVP. Unfortunately I doubt you'll ever see ratdvd support for the MVP, unless the ratdvd guy buys an MVP and decides he must have it playing ratDVDs.
