I had a problem installing at first...don't know why. When I woudl watch TV, the installer would run. I just ran installer again (chose "modify"...repair would fail), and it worked. No problems since.

Has anyone had issues with their reoccurring recordings not transferring to the new version? I just noticed that none of my recordings have been running over the past few days. I ended up having to delete the old entries in my Reoccurring list and recreate them.

Sub, I see ratdvd support as been added, I'm looking forward to giving it a try. I was wondering if this release (or any future release) will support ratdvd on the MVP.

It's usually only 1 sec at the most, in truth. I thought it was the fact it was doing the "getValue cached value: /settings/EPGProcessingMode" 2x that may be holding it up.
No, by the look of the bit of log you posted, its the actual stop.

but then after i have save the file , i get error starting the GBPVR.exe

i am a PAL user if that has something to do with this issue
tnx for any help :>
I'm guessing you've stuff the config.xml file and its now unreadible. If you edit the file with Wordpad it can do this, as some people accidentally use the RTF option which turn it into an invalid XML file. Make sure it is saved as text.

If you still cant get it to go, delete the file, and take a copy of config-master.dont-edit-me.xml and rename it config.xml to get back to the starting point. Make sure you use notepad to edit the file.

I've read the Logfile:

SelfRegModules: File: GBPVRPush.ax
Folder: C:\Programme\devnz\gbpvr\
Action 17:14:47: WiseDotNetInstall.GBPVRRecordingService.exe.
Action ended 17:14:47: InstallFinalize. Return value 3.
Action 17:14:47: Rollback. Rolling back action:
Rollback: WiseDotNetInstall.GBPVRRecordingService.exe
Rollback: Registering modules...
Rollback: Writing system registry values...

I believe, the error still happens at
Action 17:14:47: WiseDotNetInstall.GBPVRRecordingService.exe.

InstallUtil /u ... says, the uninstallation was successful.

Bye,
Sebastian
Quite a few people had this. I'm not sure exactly why, but try this version which does things differently and seems to help:

Unfortunately there is a bug with the ratdvd support in this build, but I'll have a fix available in the next few days.

I'm just using the author's playback components, which arent compatible with the MVP. Unfortunately I doubt you'll ever see ratdvd support for the MVP, unless the ratdvd guy buys an MVP and decides he must have it playing ratDVDs.

No, you cant scan from the MVP. This is typically an activity people only do once, so do it on your PC the first time to add all your stations. From then on you can listen to any of the stations from your MVP.
