Cant tune into channel in Kodi, works in NextPVR

So i have hopefully set up everything correctly, but probably not since this is not working for me.

in Next PVR, i can switch between all the channels and it tunes into all of them... however in KODI, the channels are listed but it will only tune into the "main" channel. i am new to this, so not aware of the terms. basically here is my list:

7.1
7.2
7.3
13.1
13.2
13.3
21.1
21.2
21.3
33.1
33.2
33.3


so if i switch to say 33.1 it will come in properly, but if i switch to 33.2 it goes to 33.1, or 33.3 goes to 33.1... etc. happens for all "subchannels" so basically KODI is limiting the channels i can watch. my TVs can all tune into the channels properly, also Next PVR app can switch between all the channels. it has to be something with KODI but i can not figure out what.

can anyone point me in a direction how to fix this? i would really like to use KODI as my interface but sadly it is not tuning in half of my channels.

In NextPVR? What's wrong about it?

I reported this on the Kodi forum because I thought it was a Kodi issue. I could move to different channels and change sub channels but not within the same major channel.

Can one of your guys provide a set of logs? Its not straight forward for me to test this with ATSC style major/minor numbers.

Can't you map major minor via the EPG setup to any source?

I just tried here, but renumbering a few DVB channels to 1.1, 1.2, 2.1 and 2.2. I was able to watch all these channels. I've only tested this on Kodi 16 though. I did need to make sure I had 'use channel numbers from backend' set in kodi.

Watching works for me changing from one to another while playing didn't

Ah, right. I'll check that.

That seems to be ok. I can start one on of these, and change to the others. I tried with pageup/pagedown keys on keyboard, clicking the osd up/down buttons, and clicking the channel names with the mouse on the TV->Channels screen.

okay, so it only does this while trying to switch channels with the list. if i use the up/down arrows or the pgup/pgdn all the channels work.

on a side note, 21.1, 21.2 and 21.3 have all doubled up in my channel list in KODI. not sure why it has done that? should be using backend for channel list?
