oh, I see, yes that works, I read what you wrote wrong. that was the exact original planned use of the "Forget" function... the completed recording is somehow not as desired, so you want it recorded again whenever it airs.

I agree that "Forget" is not entirely clear at first glance, but "Record Again" or "Re-Record" would imply that the software will make an active effort to record the episode again which it does not do. It's a completely passive removal of the recording's unique_id information (and the recurrence_oid if I have my way); the episode in question will only be recorded again if the user has a recurring recording rule that will match against another showing. If someone can come up with a truly better name for the function then sub might consider it, but as far as I can see "Forget" is the most accurate name for it.

On my server, Win7 time service is not so reliable on reboot. On the client it is always in sync.
In order to get the clock synced to my firewall NTP server, I have to go : Date Hour settings / Internet Time / Modify Parameters / Update
After this the clock stay in sync until the next reboot.

I rebooted the server 2 days ago and forgot to sync the Windows Time service, I noticed today that its was 10 sec late.

I found the solution to have Windows Time service start on reboot

Method 1

Run the following command to delete the trigger event that's registered as the default setting and to change the Startup Type setting for the Windows Time service from Manual to Automatic:

sc triggerinfo w32time delete
