I've been running nPVR for a while now - currently on v3.5.7 under Win 7 using FreeSat.

From time to time the powers that be move one or more of the channels (Channel 5 is a recent case in point) and in the past I have emptied the EPG, deleted all the channels and done a scan to fix the problem.

The pin in that is having to go through the channels deleting all the rubbish.

I ask myself "Is there a better way ??"

Any suggestions welcome

How do you identify the rubbish? It's a bit hard for NextPVR to automatically know which channels you consider rubbish.

It may help to know that in the scan results you can right click for some options (like bulk selecting/unselecting). You can also click the header columns to sort, incase you find it useful to see the channels listed by provider.

why delete the existing channels? they haven't all changed have they?

when I'm on the hunt for an existing channel that has simply moved, I just run a scan until I find where the channel has gone, note the tuning info and then I edit the tuning string in Channels->Detail->Edit Tuning Info.

I'd like a tickbox or something, per channel name, that would stop that channel being displayed at all - anywhere, anytime - never to be seen again on a scan or any other listing.
