I kinda think that's what most people would expect a "keyword recording" to do.

What does it do if you enter multiple keywords? match any? match all? take all the keywords together as a single string that must be matched whole? (sorry, kind of a leading question as I suspect I know the answer)

Ok, the attached version changes to search all three. I'll keep an eye on feedback to see if I leave it this way, or go back to title only.

It's phrase search, so will look for the text as typed.

I can't provide a patch for that one, but I'll keep it in mind for the next release.

How do you turn this off? I made the mistake of entering epl, wanting to watch English soccer, and got no results. But, I got multiple copies of Sleepless In Seattle and a couple of other films with epl in the title. How can I stop this?

Just go to Recurring recordings, find the recording you created by a mistake and cancel it. Smile

Thank you! So, so simple I'm embarrassed I couldn't figure it out for myself. I've worked in that area several times, cleaning up recording schedules, but it never occurred to me to look there for this.

sub Wrote:To create a keyword recording, click on the 'Keyword' option in the menu at the top of Recordings or TV Guide. Most of the options are pretty self explanatory, and the same as any other recurring recording (padding etc). Other than those, type in the keyword you want it to search for. Any recordings containing this keyword will be scheduled to record.

Let me see if I've got this right. Say for instance I want to record something in a directory other than the default directory. I would change the location on the Keyword Recording page and it would give me a list. I would select which program to change and it will record the program in the alternate directory. If it's currently a recurring program it will create a new recurring program schedule. If I don't want both I would have to delete one of them. How will I tell which one's which? Does this work for Record Once programs if I decide later that I want to make the change?

You question seems way off topic but are answered on the wiki. Add some directories on the Recording screen http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?....Recording and select them when you create recordings http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...uide#toc12

Yes

If you've already created the recurring recording, and you decided you want to change something (like the directory), you'd update the existing recording, rather than scheduling a new recording.

To do this you'd head Recordings->Recurring screen, click enter on the recording to view it's details, then hit 'Update' and do the change. Some deal with recordings created with Record Once, head to Recordings->Pending screen, view it's details, then hit 'update'...
