lost EPG

Hello all,

Anybody know what is happening with Freeview terrestrial in Christchurch NZ?
I am using EPG collector which only downloaded program data to this coming Sunday 13/3/2016). Each day collector downloads without error but no program data after Sunday.
Frequencies ok as the data i have is correct. TVguide.xml updates but missing data.
Anybody else having problems here?

The last time I saw a problem mentioned on Geekzone was in December & for that one....

which could well be the version you are running?? Prior to that the common cure was to try the different transponders in case they have move the one they are broadcasting the EPG on (has happened more than once)

Got latest version but pid warrents further investigation thanks.

I had a phone call from a friend I help out at times tonight reporting the same issue you were seeing with his epgcollector & getting him to change the transponder it was grabbing the EPG from fixed the issue for him.....

Could you please describe what you mean by transponder?

Frequency. He's saying that you should try collecting the EPG from a different frequency. (ie, previously you may have been getting it from the TVNZ frequency, and you could try the Mediaworks frequency or Kodia frequency)

Not sure how to get Mediaworks or Kodia frequency. I have tried all 3 of the frequencies in epg collector. The only one that "works" is the original one I was using which downloads without error but missing the last part of the full 7 days. (finishes midnight Saturday).

Just did another run - Strangely now have epg for 1 week. I had made no changes. T think they just didnt broadcast for a few days. All good now.
