ImageGrabLite - Help Required

Hi Martin,

I think I need some help.

I have added a group of Folders that reside on another machine to the "VIDEO" panel on this PC.

There are no art works for any of the programs within the folders. I would like to get the art works for each folder.
Typical folder naming and contents naming. --> (Folder) iZombie --> (File/s) iZombie S01E01 Pilot.mp4
or (Folder) iZombie --> (Folder) Series 1 --> (File/s) iZombie S01E01 Pilot.mp4

I have copied my NPVR.db3 and updated table Scheduled_recordings columns Name and FileName with the Folder names (as above).
Status has been set to "2" for each row.

I am using the copy Database to play in ...
SET SQLITE="c:/users/public/NPVR/Scripts/Utilities/sqlite3.exe"
SET DB="C:\Tmp\npvr.DB3"
SET IGLite="C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR\ImageGrabLite.exe"

When I run IGL I get results for other programs that seem to be in EPG_EVENT :confused:
I have got to be missing something / lots of somethings :o

There are scripts to scan all files already posted and there is an option to add files with art to the recording library.

Do any of the scripts do what I'm attempting to do ???

Those SET statements aren't required for iGL but I think someone maybe JavaWiz did write a script that used something similar. In anycase iGL is hardcoded to use the live database.

I solved my problem with a "kludge"

I copied the database (backup x 2) and inserted ALL the items I needed in EPG_EVENT.
I then started NPVR and set each of the inserted items to record.
NPVR then downloaded the available JPG's and XML's.

I then stopped NPVR and copied 1 of the database backups over live Database

I now have 207 ????????-catalog.xml files with jpg's and a pretty VIDEO PANEL

Sounds like you used NextPVR to do it it create the image files. Glad you got it going.

Do you know anything about the pull of metadata in the (NEXTPVR) Video panel?

I have noticed that when metadata is pulled via IGL(??????) in the posts above, I get something like these ...
2 BROKE GIRLS-catalog.xml, 2 BROKE GIRLS.banner.jpg, 2 BROKE GIRLS.fanart.jpg, 2 BROKE GIRLS.jpg 2 BROKE GIRLS.landscape.jpg and 2 BROKE GIRLS.xml

BUT

in the Video Panel fetch of metadata the ??????-catalog.xml file is missing

No ??????-catalog.xml no pretty pictures on the background, as far as I can tell
Any Ideas :o

No sorry you are using sub's built in fetching, I don't know how that works with videos.

At this stage I have started to write a Rexx Program to generate the missing ??????-catalog.xml's
