Delete Menu to jump out of Delete Cycle, so multiple deletes are avoided?

Maybe its just my fat fingers, but I've done this twice now since I had the Rii remote with Kodi.

What happens is I play a show (say from Videos) which has a directory with a list of videos in it.

After viewing I then arrow up to get the delete menu; press enter, then OK and it deletes.
But if I leave my finger pressing Enter, it deletes 4 or 5 shows double quick time "poof gone"; Recuva got them back luckily (absent a Recycle Bin in NPVR) but is there a possibility of a setting which would only allow you to delete one, then make you go through the cycle again? I think it;s because up arrow puts you in the delete menu, but it leaves that menu open. I don't know another way to invoke the menu.

Would save a lot of heartache for me.

Are you talking about within Kodi? I've got no control over the UI there.

Nope, sorry I meant within NPVR with auto-starts using NEWA, from Kodi on my RPi2 (using Openelec).
Specifically within a directory under the Videos menu in this instance, but I would imagine it would be the same for any menu where "Delete" stays in the menu bar on the top, and pressing and holding Enter (even just a microsecond too long) just keeps deleting files.

It probably is "fat" fingers, but your kodi.log would be required to confirm. Even in Windows if you hit multiple enters on the delete screen you don't see the prompts in NextPVR as the deletes flash by. Sub could default the prompt to cancel to avoid this.
