Scan for New Media

If I add media, with or usually without metadata, how do I have the program scan the folders to locate and list new media?
If there's an thread about this, point me there. I searched for scan new media, new media etc., and everything I got was regarding channels.

It looks at the directories and files every time you go into the Video Library. You don't need to do a scan.

NextPVR lists the content of the "Video Folders" when you select Videos from the Main Menu (ditto Music ... ). Apologies if I am teaching you to suck eggs.

Ok, not seeing any setting for scanning, I had no idea when. or if, the program did. Can I assume the metadata follows? Graham Wrote:Apologies if I am teaching you to suck eggs. Plus ... NextPVR can download art for recorded TV shows. |
